Wowzers thanks guys. Just a day in the life of myself. Goblins always were a forte- actually orks, goblins, lizards. If it’s green I can make that skin look very nicely and that is what I myself honestly feel .I do have a favorite color and it’s drab green. I’m still weighed down under quite a bit of projects but I swear guys it def keeps me improving at a steady rate . I do stay in my lane . What that means is I strictly paint what I’ve been told I do well.weathering , grim dark type moods and effects such as gore acne etc. After pics of the gibbos( which I really bought because of those two lil fat squigs) I’ll bounce back to the two other projects the rogue trader and the tank. So stay tuned thanks for everything guys- GOLDEN!!!

You should string the bows of your gobbos with aircraft or ship wiring thread. Might be a bit fiddly but if you can work it would look great. The fabric texture you have painted in look real nice.

Based on my experience the gobbo archers are too low of quality to add a string, it would go through the arm, or the bow is too attached to the mini.

Ok the verdict on does bowstrings work. @ lemming thanks for your feedback. What I was taught from my pop pop a long time ago was be self directed not other directed. This means I’ll always hear what someone’s point is then test it for myself. As far as two materials I’ve tried -1st was guitar string very thin whatever letter that is on the neck /body / of n electric guitar. It had give despite I cut it very small to prepare myself if it had to slight curve around the wrist as it turns out these goblins did not obstruct the wire in that way. I also tried beading flexi string from my wonderful and talented Janet the jewelry designer;) this worked as well. However I was unsuccessful and the more I had one end glued in the other i tried to fasten in place with a toothpick / tweezers. If anyone doubts it can be done I’ll say it def can -if you all want photos let me know I’ll show what I mean .however ,for myself , I failed about 10 attempts.St toad and other more skilled modelera would be able to -david Powell and bullfrog herself. Me however having fat fingers I call snausages and low skill with sculpting and or modeling (my mission to get these better is never ending) spent more time cleaning off glue buildup and simply I protected my invested time of the painting by ceasing to try further.
again jo I was psyched as it’s still an excellent idea.

The right hand head on the three headed dude (the Alice Cooper one) is superb, absolute highlight of the model there!
