Looks great, but your pics of it on P&P seem to have a lot of background. Maybe some cropped shots more of the mini taking up a larger percent of the pic?

Lol thanks sherry my man and canny I'm super stoked that you've seen some of the newer things that I've accomplished and have done MD well on p&p now keep the momentum and sherry I'll crop it next time I'm doing the computer thing ie .

Ll yes we are good friends joc I would expect nothing less than what you said thanks bud btw my ranking went up again..Idk they all must love it cause I'm now ... wait for it...wait for it! ......113/272 woohoo and that's exactly what I would love to do but think this way tomorrow I hit my Dr's office..the reason I paint so well...secret I'm in the zone but I don't just get there I need to do some ritualistic things first and foremost is the mess from my pain mngt dr.after I do that I'm clear alert and more productive.so

Okay so the recipe I promised is nothing more than spray macrame blue.I'm not big on all the GW primers because we'll their not primers they're spray paint bottom line and I just wanted to save time so that being said if I had a blue color from p3 I would've used that .after that lay in the shades by two brush blending of macrame blue and black blend these in 3 shades adding increasing amounts of chaos black or whatever black you choose each time using more black and covering less area in a overlapping roof shingle idea.the fourth shade is chaos black glazed this time into the recesses.now the highlight add Caledon sky for the first highlight 3 steps more adding in small increasing amounts of spacewloves grey (this keeps the coolness of the blue in line with well,staying cool.) The very top glaze is 2:1 mix of Caledor sky with space wolves grey. (Remember when two brush blending add small but increasing amounts) if it's too drastic it will not look smooth at least in my opinion.their are however a few artist whom use very stark contrasts and they do it well its just not a preference of mine that's all. The face was basically a 3 tone variation of yellow glazes on the forehead the nose and ears (the middle portion) gets red glazes very thin mind you when glazing.and the bottom third of the face the jaw ,mouth and lips is kept with a blue/grey cool glaze again very thin.I learned this from canny/david powel both very in depth and conscientious hobbyists.check out there work in progresses they Def have valuabe information to all looking to achieve a better painted model.these guys know what their doing.

congrats! i have to disagree about the "best hobby magazine" part though as every time they published my stuff its been torn apart by even more crappy photographing than my own lol. still cool you being published :good:

all capitals hurt my brain to read lol

Lol yeah well their not photographers notice their staff stuff comes gr8 and the readers stuff they usually wawant the readers to send the photos which I did to avoid that. Lol
it'll be in visions #12 on sale this weekend in your local hobby store. Sorry bout the caps I never check when it's on off or spell check as you can see in most of my posts skell.thanks guys.

SKell I totally agree but readers content they've asked me to retake some pics where I sent in the photos and that's why other than golden demon they ask for the reader to take the photos.so I did they liked it it made visions I'm estatic.for GD awards they take the photos and they take em quick.here I sent in some work and then was reached to bring the size up aperture down and all that jazz.I have my own folder as I'm a occasional contributor so it's all my photos that they use. At diggs it's #12 issue of visions and will be on shelves this weekend.also was given a copy signed by the eavy metal team.great stuff. Thanks skells,fluisterwould,and digga.

LOL bro, I have a bit of energy today, I had to take 1 1/2 sick days and I sleep more in 2 days then I normally do in 5 days, I might sit down now at table and try to do some stuff.
