Showing my newest works before I get into things!

Wait, wut? He's got a spine for a beard? Seriously, ever since the Storm Raven, somebody's been spiking the drinking water of the GW designers with LSD...

Otherwise, good painting job man. That thing will look awesome, those rusty metallic and cloth are looking the bees-knees.

Yeah, I thought only Chuck Norris' beard had a back bone...

Im with you guys in that I didn't like this model much at first, but BaM chose a good kit and painted it up nice. That sword is incredible. You should make it look ethereal on the edges. Maybe use some light blues or whatever.

View attachment 30651Needless to say of course I used my weathered metal techniques on this the less color and more dark and gritty the better he is dead so no harm no foul.
Skellette yes I hate a few things bout it the loads of detail is one of them.
think it is a backbone. :( this model was done for one reason the painting group said to me why don't you paint large kits . ? Well unless its a commission I don't feel like excercising my little to none modelling techniques. And they said if I could do a large kit to a high tabletop standard theyde stop busting on me. So I picke nagash. I also have to add because its plastic and a kit , the adjoining pieces fit pretty well being they are laser cut. Ill try to have a proper pic up today. Another thing I'm in a gripe with is all the spirits flowing around him. It's 50% spirits so between that and 7 books to paint and all other extras is enough to send me running in horror as if I gazed upon NAGASH himself. So it's safe to say after this model kit I won't be doing a large kit for awhile.:/

View attachment 30688View attachment 30687 Remember how terrible the original sculpt was it was as bad as as the ever queen . Thanks Kruse bear . Thanks to all you guys. I think after this the highest I'll go is 54 mm , a day I know you should never say never, but it's safe to say I'll never want to paint a kit this large again. Meadows , fantasy g, awaken realms that's what they do but it's definitely not me guys. right about now I'm just looking to finish this model at least at high tabletop standard as i may have the time but simply do have not the patience to wet blend each and every part and piece of such a great , large but (and skelette is so right) over detailed model.

Thanks deny boy I'm having a real hard time with this guy . I've dropped him numerous times and we'll those spirit things give some shock absorption it bounced right back up. No lie. Yeah the modelling of GW well let's just say I'm not as adept as you guys with modelling. Trying to keep an open mind though. In reality if I had a swear jar idea have to write an ion for 10,000 dollars. But I don't have a swear jar so F*** nagash and the sickly undead horse he rode in the old work on.
