Thanks canny my m8 yeah I saw the boxes in the "game room store" I cannot tell you how horrible it felt to see these wonderful ne models and think we'll I'm good at a lot of things but not that...same thing I used to think of when I looked at space marines before I learned how to 2 brush blend!! Then it hit me like a ton of bricks I said to myself the only reason your not good at it is because your not admitting your not good at it but if you practiced it why couldn't you become as good as anybody you know muscle memory over and over just know it's not supposed to be good until you learn it at that point I picked up 2 boxes of 10 and am prepared to go thru as many as it takes.now and once crystal brush is over I start the long a laborious quest of painting the perfect harlequin ....the greatest thing is I've done 1 full model and that it didn't go into the garbage Iow I've attempted it ,saw it through and now 1 turns to two then that turns to four never forgetting I'm not doing this to paint them great now I'm doing this to paint them great down the road and forever after that....but I'm getting huge amounts of compliments on this first model...what can I say BAM was the lunatic that was gonna try it...but I honestly didn't think I was going g to succeed ...more momentum for each and every one...thanks canny.

Still alot of work to do

Here is my first real proper image of the harlequin taken by my fiancé with the Nikon and light box. Enjoy I'm done for tonight!! Since 10:30am today so 8 hrs in plus 8 hrs yesterday that's 16 total hours. Most people think I'm fast well I might be but if everybody had 8-9 hour days everyday to put in their work would be done in days and not weeks or months. Anyway enjoy and gnight time for"the walking dead!"def going to revisit the sword was just throwing lines and thicknesses to see what would be the best option for gore alot or a little any cients on that yay or nay on the gore of the sword; this time I def need ideas from you viewers: any thoughts !!

I don't know, looks like he's about to draw the sword so why would it have blood on it? In my mind he just shot some one in the legs let say and he is coming in for the kill so maybe a effect on the gun like he just shot and no fresh blood on the sword.

Was trying to figure why your checks looked better than the average Harlequin. I think it is the fact that you black lined the pattern and your base on the red and and blue are dark shades. I didn't even realize the black line was there initially because it works so well with the dark colors and the highlights of the individual checks. Really suggests three dimensional check padding...probably why some thought they were casted onto the figure.

excellent round one! Lol :)
