Clearing things up I'm painting these as a table top unit it's basically practice pieces for diamond patterns and that's where all my effort is going they are kinda in the spirit of the new studio eavy metal team that basically paints high tabletop standard to get their models looking "good enough" I'm also a collector so I don't have any of my models built that are not painted if I was painting for a comp which is what I mostly paint for then i de he taking my time to blend ,glaze etc.that being said I'm painting these good enough and no lore but more for practice of the diamond pattern and if I decide to do a Harley for a comp then I will break out the Raphael's to 2brush blend everything period. Right now it's standard freehand with washes and layering and I say these are gods enough for me... I think Steve buddle said that.

Looking good BAM. You maybe progressing on the gun keep it tidy relative to the checkers if you're planning it for an entry. Possibly tone down the yellow knee pad or give it a shadow on the low side for me pops a little too much (takes away from other aspects).

nothing else jumps out that needs adjustments. Keep on painting mate looking very impressive.

Thanks Davie and btw you'll why I did the masques that color 1)to give a focal point 2 it further balances out color to the eye mostly a warm model of reds and yellows but then BAM cool masks !!!!that kinda contrasts brings the popping of the model further.
