Seems more balanced in the picture, though Epic is right - a dark background would do it. And I know exactly what you mean about adding more and more... one of the things that make me a bit afraid of OSL and the like. 
Seeing it on the good picture, I think it is good OSL. I still think that it should be slightly weaker around the orb and/or extend further - of course, this is a matter of taste. As for me competing... I have to improve more than a little before playing in the big leagues, but I do compete when I can. It's not all about winning, just participating is a learning experience, so I join what contest I can. But going to Crystal Brush... that's a few years away. And I doubt I'd bring Odin, would have to pay almost adult rates for a plane seat for him. But now, who knows what the future holds. I love to travel, and New York is a fave of mine within relatively easy reach. And then New Jersey isn't far away.
