Honestly I am not a fan of these models, But your wip of them is well done so far. I like the way your going with this and what you did with the skin before.

My sleeping meds are kicking in so if i Say something incoherant just ask me in the morning brush brother BaM!

I would like to see this in every step if you would be so kind. I love seeing how others paint but i dont get an option to do so ever. I wonder if there is a way with scype or somthing to do a paint along with all us, plus its always nice to hang out with like minded folk for cheers, honesty's, and ideas, and most of all fun and comradery. You know what i AM meaning BAM my brother? my uber helping massive painting machine friend?

Coming along

Here you can see the consistency if you find a recipe you like record the step by step this is important when doing a unit unless your unit is supposed to be different colors otherwise they must share the same basic colors

These are the latest the skin is done an agrax earth shade glaze followed by a yellow glaze were brushed onto the model this gives a Lil more color to the eye and balances out the cool coal black. Which is a drk blue . Balance. Also yellow glazes were applied to the horns and purple red washes were applied to the armor. Finally a pink lip was painted onto the faces lower lip area. Stay tuned

Great stuff on the skin so far. I wasn't a big fan of the new Khorne stuff, maybe I was expecting much more after the great Nurgle releases, who knows. Anyway I'm sure your painting will make them look good.

Ha, you updated as I was typing. Nicely done.

Hate the figures ,love the painter......
Papa bam ,like the darker recesses under the arms etc , looks a lot more shapely .
is the girdle just a silver with an agrax shade so far? It's looking nice already even with no more on it other than some damage maybe ..?

I love Khorne, but these guys ... like so many others here, I disliked the minis. But if you can make me like them, we have a winner ... and you are well on the way here ... Metal is cooool.

Yeah, impressive change on the armor. Big difference from early and nice effect, especially on the double axe dude. Is that just GW shades or are you using some inks too?

Are you planning to do any more with the faces? There would be good guys to try some of the glazes (yellow for top third - forehead, red for middle - cheeks and nose tip, and blue for the bottom third - stubble). Since they're chaos dudes you can play with that some too. I often work purple glazes into the shadows on the deepest parts of the cheeks and a bit around the eyes. For chaos you can play more with the purples since they're complex can look a bit unnatural but still work. If you've got the GW glazes I mix the red and blue to create my purple. I also use a 50/50 mix of water and glaze so I can build up the color over several layers. That way you get a more subtle effect and can see what you like before you accidentally overdo it. Plus it helps you avoid zombie-face. =)

Lol yes bails I use inks in everything I shade there the old GW the ones that were so dark they looked like quill inks
