Showing my newest works before I get into things!

I too am skeptical simply because of their track record and because in my experience nothing comes close to Series 7. also remember that what BaM uses in his 2-brush style requires a very particular type of brush, synthetic if I remember correctly.

Yes, he uses some kind of Raphael syntetic that I can't find any place with reasonable shipping.

I'm getting Wamp brushes (hopefully) soon, including the Ali McWey two-brush blending set. Interesting to see what they are like.

If GW are able to make good brushes, however, that is very interesting to me, since I can get them easily locally.

Yes both of you are correct I use synthetic (Raphael Kareal) brush for two brush blending. But having using the citadel new brushes now I've switched to a large layer brush to scoop up the paint and then my size 3 synthetic to feather and thin out the edges I've even went as far as using 2large layer brushes and to my surprise they work well also. I love it I can't say enough.:)

My eye got catched at the butterfly that Terra's asked for, and on the necklace with a rounded "brushed silver" pendant with little spots of colour in somehow kind of "Miró" style.
Lovely jewels!!

Thanks much maemus ill be sure to tell her but in a diff note the gentleman named Woogity has asked me to do I believe the box art for his colossal lizard men models. I'm working on an idea as I'm doing one of them now as a test model standard four light source (x marks the spot" I love painting this way and I've always wanted to paint a type of warm albino kroxigor so I've got myself a bit gone since returning Sunday from Las Vegas here's where we're at so far View attachment 38677so stay tuned folks!!!

After the main colors and shades along with highlights I'm now at the stage of red handing and rehighlighting the model. As you can see very subtlety I've gone back in with a desaturated red 2beush blended into areas of the scales and back carapace this warm desaturated red will be balanced out by adding in a more saturated red purple and the finally Vance out the warmth of the red with a cool dark blue. All over the model you'll see blues and blue green balanced out by warm publish red colors and the again more balance by reds etc. so again I'm really big on time variation but using it to balance out which in turn will bring more of a contrast. Remeber folks the ways you achieve contrast in my own experience is 1) color scheme (a brown tone against an ivory set of slacks ! 2) dark and light shades and highlights ...and 3 ,tone variation or cool /warm balance. I always include these three in my minis in no particular order.. Here's where we're at mates:View attachment 38704

Yessir thanks from another judge and a tough one if oist likes it I'm on the right track....I just did something nuts wait until my next update I just went firkin crazy with an idea...I made em a rainbow lizard....I don't even know if there is such a scheme but that pale skin was begging for some glazing anywhere and everywhere.I gotta tell the truth when I paint I have an idea in mind but sometimes the beauty of how I paint I never really know what the end product is..but I gotta say this came from left field, right field and deat center field all at once..I just hope it shows up on the pics...it looks right out of a chameleon touching a very rainbow and every color he starts to mimic...oh well I'll let you guys decide.oist do yourself a favor and paint one of these bad boys..first off they are amazing sculpts from probably the best 3d artist I can think of ,Seco day they are"MASSIVE" colossal isn't even the word..GW,AOW,ENIGMA,THEY ALL HAVE TO BE PRETTY DAMNED DIVINE TO PULL OFF SOME THING BETTER...
