hat can I say about fur...yeah I dry brush but that cannot be the only method..first off when you dry brush use a light circular motiin, very light pressure..but what I feel the trick is is working in reverse, start with really light colors and after all the highlighting is done that's when you begin laying in shadows obviously I use blues mixed with my base colors and other thibgs, this helps add more color to the browns which is more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The more colors and tones introduced on a model the better and more realistic it looks imho.so there you have how to paint fur.if anybody wants a recipe ..SORRY I didn't keep a leg on this guy, alot of what I do is "on the fly" my model and a color wheel next to me.that's it.what I'm very good at is copying color from a subject, notice how baily left a pic of the wooly rhino I used the exact same pic for color reference.any ?s I'll be glad to help.thanks for looking.
