You can usually tell them apart - the thumb tends to have more paint on it!

I may revisit what I did yesterday, because I played a bit with the blood for the god paint and I think I could retouch it a bit to try your blood splattering techniques ^^

Ok , SOS SOS SOS WHICH ONE OF YOU GUYS /gals KNOWS WHAT I CAN SOAK MINIS IN to remove plastic model cement glue. I was given a batch of dark vengeance models free unpainted , but some idiot decides to assemble them and because I've learned my lesson not to assemble certain pieces on a model due to brush restriction I need to know what can I use or soak a plastic model in that it will real ease these compounds that glue the models together!!!?

Oh I feel your pain, but I cannot help much here ;(
I think that plastic cement glue melts the plastic and creates a stronger bond than just plain superglue... maybe a soft solvent could help you out --> Acetone / nail polish ?? But if you try it do it carefully!!

I've occasionally stripped a figure by soaking it in Simple Green. It's had the side effect of also loosening some of the glued joints.
However, if the other person used plastic cement instead of superglue, you may be out of luck. As Maenas mentioned, plastic cement will melt the two pieces together, so I don't think any amount of solvent is going to bust them apart. Your best option is to either cut the pieces apart or just live with it and do your best to paint it as one piece. If the person used superglue, then a solvent should work. Again, Maenas is right on with the acetone.

Lol thanks Mae ....appreciate.this is why painting is subjective I'm usually good bout reading and predicting my scores. But I definitely did not foresee this new model to score that high and make it in their this time...funny I had it around 8.7-8.9 ....what I'm really stoked about is some great comments especially the 10/10 score given to me by mr maciek (" FLAMEON") this really made me ecstatic.

Ide like to share this s newest publication ...again., when white dwarf and visions likes my work that's been a huge dream come true since I saw GW painted models appearing in their earlier issues...so as one of their most regular contributors I take much pride in it I've been in over 27 diff publications in the last year and not including the cmon annual and other awards...it's these publications that mean the most to me. The only other way I would have access to publication would be snagging a finalist badge or winning a golden demon statuette .. Problem is 1)!there hasn't been a GD contest in the states in years and I do not have that kind of income to fly me and my Janet to UK ..so that's not gonna happen...so the only other way is by sending pics in a portfolio type idea and hoped they liked my work enough to say send more ,send more...I've done just that.even have a signed autographed book of my first mini that View attachment 45708View attachment 45708View attachment 45709 View attachment 45710View attachment 45711pears which was Nagash. So Dan harden and the crew continually request works from me and I'm only too happy to oblige.
