I watch the counts down and at the very first second I was voting, it was really exciting to see all these great names this year. I am glad I didn't went because now I know more of what kind of crazy levels I need to paint to even consider dreaming about the possibility to win a medal. Congratulations guys, you are brave solders all of you man!! Geez!!! All the big guns where there! Looks like CB is becoming "the competition"

BTW TODD SWANSON was there !!! The 6x slayer sword winner of North America...we talked for a good half hour he gave my work more compliments than I could ever hope a talented would or could give...

BTW Bailey was my moral support , my voice of reason ,and my man who comes prepared more than bear grills in a man vs land reality show...I mean HE EVEN HAD AN IPHONE 3 or 4 jack that fit my phone to help charge mine....he's def my wingman AND SO IS DEREK (fluster would) .

Congrats on the win BAM. I tried to find you at the show to say hi, but I only had pictures of your left thumb to go by.
Maybe I will have better luck in Valley Forge next month if you are going. (would be a great place to show your Vikings)

Thanks toad.;)I believe it's called MFCA - it's a bit diff it's not stressful because they don't have a closed judging system meaning your competing against others at high standards..they use an OPEN judging system which means everybody gets something ,your competing against yourself so 1) they give out bronze ,silver ,and gold medal to the models they feel are your best work as you can bring any amount of models you're like so let's say out of 12 models you bring and most of them they say are bronzed standards but 2 of them let's say they feel are gold.. Then your awarded a gold medal...you see..you should come I'll be your first comp..you're love it and it's in your neck of the woods.

Well done Papa, well deserved in a very competitive showing this year . Really is a shame that your Vikings got cancelled out by your reavers and they conglomerated the historical squad brother ,I wouldn't have been happy .....but still ...next year

Since I'm not sure you heard me as you were running to catch your flight, congrats BAM! I'm looking forward to both of us coming up with even crazier pieces for next year!

SaintToad, yes, you should definitely go check out the MFCA show. One of the best shows in the US, in my opinion. The level of work is really high. I also think there's a good chance that the top overall winner from the Crystal Brush will be there, so it's another chance to check out that piece.
