Was doing an exercise in painting other colors and wanted to try a lil bit different base work so I went with a pillaged forest with some dead trees and exposed roots.every once in a while I do a model that could use always more atten but I was pleased and happy with this end of another project that plainly goes into my collections of small vignettes...I love vignettes ,I don't have the patience for Dios ATM but I love vignettes...maybe 7 of these guys on their own plinths each a lil diff for crystal .... Maybe!? Idle spend much more time on EM but no doubt I'm sure that kinda thing would get me to the finals....people just loooove vignettes and well why not a unit of vignettes ;) that's how I do.....without any further ramblings :View attachment 50334

Damn BAM, you've been busy (as always) the last few days. I really dig the silver and blues. I imagine finishing a fun little project like this should give you a boost to keep plugging away at the oruks and the defiler.

@Khavor - yes I've done much more work on the defiler which I'll probably post some w I p pics this afternoon.in addition the bluebird will be added to my cmon gallery. Not P&P though as only my top projects get the pass to go on my gallery there...:( the orukks I'm just waiting on bases my 50 mm round presculted scenic bases from model display products...they are another trademark and main stay for crystal brush entries...if nobody is familiar look at all my crustal brush placements from historical 54 mm units on my Viking and barbarians to my 40 k irks and my blood readers as well as most of my past projects .i always use them but I build them up over the pre sculpted ground works already there.ill probably use the same idea for the irks that I did on the tzangor only I'll extend it through the display plinth that they insert into.so hang tigh ladies and gents....

^^^This would make an outstanding unit. And don't sell this guy short he looks great and the blue of the symbol on the base ties the whole piece together.

Not a fan of the defiler sculpt, but the addition of the micro beads is gives it the type of interest that makes me enjoy a questionable sculpt once it gets hit with some BAM magic! :)
