LOL. You had me wondering if I missed ordering an annual...I guess we need to switch you to a different bourbon! :)

Happy to see the weathering starting on the skeletons.

Nice work as usual, mate! The weathering is coming along nicely and I'm liking the orange on the shields a lot. It adds a nice splash of bright colour to the model without being too flashy.

Yeppers @foxy I have four diff shades of it. An awesome one if you like it is VGE(ffects) verdigris. An baily uses secret weapon weathering acrylics. After using this on every one of my models in someway I started to taper off the use. But started it up again very sparsely here to suggest diff metal combinations layered under the steel.
@keule thanksmy dear friend.
@meph thanks you mad army painter. The worlds finest.

The scratches which were really bright have now had several glazed of rhinoxhide mixed into reiki and flesh shade and applied in a painting motion. For those who don’t work with glazes they are meant to be extremely thin (basically like very transparent “tinted water” and are “painted” onto the parts of the model you wish to have colors of the shading and highlights be tied into one another by now sharing this transparent application. You can be the judge of how intense you like your tinting to be. I suggest starting with 2-3 and than asses how tied in the colors have become and be careful if it’s not “extremely thin enough” you can end up losing your 3D effects brought on by all your hard work after blending in your shades and highlights prior to this stage.View attachment 62904View attachment 62905you can see the effects of you compare the top photos of the individual pics to the 2 pics in this post.

When most people would call it done, you still want to go further. That’s what separates top class painters from everyone else.
