Been a while since I dropped in (work, paint, sleep, repeat) but everything is looking suitably BAM in here.

Ol' Big mouth looks excellent particularly the face, think you have really nailed the tonal range. As always they will make for an impressive looking unit when complete.

Will have to catch up on your WD article at some point as well!

I’m loving the feather on the pen, that’s really nice, are you going to mimic the gw version with the white point highlights? Cause that is really effective. Although what I’m really looking forward to is seeing how you give the scroll your unique touch...

Starting the work in the scroll I’ve glazef in reds and burgundy to tie in the shading of the model to something as large as the scroll.

Well done on getting the magazine showcase, that's great. And loving the nurgle stuff. I haven't painting a GW model in years but some of their recent Nurgle minis have been very cool

Nothing is finished on any of these sad to say- long road ahead!!! Much more work to be done!!! Bilepiper’s looking good on his base. And the scrollwork is excellent. I see what you mean about the triangle created by the blues, very good composition.

I can’t work out for the life of me how that mouth stays on the scriverner’s shoulder without slopping off.

Yessir FOXY - remember this take a spot color and try to form somewhat of a triangle it does have to be an equilateral although it’s cool if you get one . Even tiny amounts of that spot color thrown at three points . This is how you’ll get the “harmony triangle. It aids in the overall composition of color. Btw brother thanks for always taking theses lil tips here and there I said ide never use em when I started. Now there’s very little I won’t use at all. The judges live this shit.
