As per always you’ve got some really nice things happening in this thread!!! Man those orks are looking great, what an honour to get to paint part of the collection along with those other great names in painting!!! That guy is going to have one kick ass looking collection that’s for sure...
Well the cyclops is looking awesome mate... and even better now with that base concept, really suits the figure. I’ve seen a few really good versions of this guy popping up lately, but I like your take on it. Has a really creepy monster look to it, and that eye!!!! Brilliant... looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Brilliant idea John, that hand on the column is something else! Now it gives the impression that he is choosing wether to hit with the club or throw a piece of column!

He’s come together really well. I like the blue shadows going on the side of his torso.

Still really curious about what’s on the other side of his face though

There will be more barbarians?!?! If they are anywhere near as cool as this one, it will be another epic group of figures.

There is nothing on the other side of his face, it is all freakishly Twilight Zone going on with that figure's face!

Yeah it is a bust of a vampire from KAROL RUDYK . One of my friends owns a store (MR JIM) great guy great store has everything on hand. Well I bought my stuff to the MFCA historical show . And he put pictures up . Karol who is one of his vendors noticed it and said who the hell painted my piece that superb who’s the artist. Mr Jim told him BAM he said he did a great job. Imagine that right from Karol’s mouth. Now I can die Rhett. That’s it I’m done I’ve 1) seen the rangers win2) I’ve won 5 crystal in the last four years3) Karol. 4 made my head explode.now if I can just get the mets and shifty piece of shit disgusting they deserve to lose I hate them with a passion “JETS” could win than I’ve lived a full life. :) lolol

View attachment 67387View attachment 67388View attachment 67389Yeah I must say citadel is my favorite. However I honestly feel to be a complete artist and learn about all sorts of shapes minis textures sizes and things like that have helped me grow. It’s simple if I see a figure now that I live I get it and how to paint it where4/5 years ago ide pick just green skins etc etc . So I’ve helped myself a great deal it’s worth it I honestly believe for artists to venture into different camps I am a huge believer in trying your hand t all those other brilliant miniature painting games and companies etc.

@BAM: Agreed - Citadel is offering a big portfolio (+ a nice game to get the minis out for a "walk" :) ).

And by the way... to pick green skins is never a bad idea :p (even if you're right, that those guys are maybe a bit easier to paint than bretonian knights ^^)
Regardless if World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings, Warhammer or any other game!

It must have been an absolute pleasure... to receive praise from Karol I now understand better your choice of profile pic.
And I agree with Rhett, you have to look twice to notice it is an actual paint work :)

Loving the pale green on the orc, gives him an "experienced" look.
