Meh.

My friend\'s Jaguar got totalled when someone rear-ended him recently. He\'s using the insurance settlement as down payment on a Bimmer.

Now for me, my Grand Prix does fine. Sure, I could blow the extra 20 grand to squeeze out another 100 lbs of torque, or get \"European style\" luxury, but some times more isn\'t better. Faster doesn\'t always equate to more exciting. Even more luxury (and I do likes my luxury) doesn\'t always mean more comfort. Sometimes it just means more sh** that can break.

And this way I can buy more miniatures.

As for the world ... the world can go screw. I don\'t live my life based on the limiations and hang-ups of others. Nobody should.

Still runs on the salad oil we call gasoline these days. I miss the days of regular and 120 octane.

Allthough I really take pride in living in a country where environment is considered somewhat important, and -

1: that the average car goes 15-20 km on a litre of gasoline
2: that gasoline costs approx. 2,5$ for a LITRE!!!
3: That a car gets taxed about 280% when registered

.....I would give my left nut for one of those.....

If you have a 2008 dodge challenger in the pocket of your grubby dirty greasy coat, we´ve got a date :p

These things make absolutely no sense to me, at all. The speed limit on highways is, for the most part, 100 kph in Canada, or 55 mph in the USA.

What in the world do we need cars with this much power for on the roads? Granted, almost everybody exceeds the speed limit, but that\'s usually by 10-20 kph here in Canada, or (from what I hear) about the same in mph down south.

Does anybody really need a car capable of reaching escape velocity for driving from home to work and back again each day?

The government cracks down on street racing, and the auto manufacturers keep building things like this that are just screaming... \"Race me. RACE ME!\"

It just doesn\'t make sense, to me.

It not about how fast it can go, but how fast it can get there. And some people are just interested in regulated racing, not street racing.

Actually Interstate speed limits is 65 in the US and many states are upping it to 75 mph and more..

Almost any car off the production line is capable of doing 100mph or more..thats not the point..

This car is just cool.... and sometimes thats all that matters...

Of course you could take it to Germany on the autobarn(sp?) where there is no speed limit (although they do put limiters on the cars)

Germany has either already introduced limits or are about to (not sure how accurate this info is). Many parts already have 120kph limits on them, mostly through national parks and the like.

Also, if your not used to it, driving on the Autobahn can be intimidating. If you not going fast enough on the overtaking lane then you WILL get flashed and hooted by anyone comming behind you.

I\'m gonna say that car looks as if it belongs in the 70\'s appearing in Starsky & Hutch.
It shows little or no style, and doesn\'t appeal to me.
If I wanted a \"Sports Car\" with some style I\'d go for an Aston Martin.

I hate contemporary American cars with a passion.

But that is brilliant. I\'d donate a testicle to own one....:D

Actually it was (almost) - The Dukes Of Hazzard....
The Challenger and Charger were designed by the same chap and look very similar. This is just an update.

It\'s not a sports car. It\'s a muscle car and it\'s what the American auto industry do best. Good on \'em I say!

Astons are for footballers. Give me something slinky and Italian every time...

I just need to win the lottery and get Lamborghini to put this new Miura concept into production:

Edit: Without the lousy mags on this one. They\'re awful.

Americans wouldent know style if it ran over lolthem

DR, Aston Martin do indeed make some of the nicest cars on the planet. The MD of the company I work for owns a Vantage and during the summer months uses it for work. Very nice car indeed but a baby seat in the back kinda looks out of place :)

But im afraid NOTHING on this planet comes close to this thing.

That Lambo Reventon is completely devoid of taste and any styling invention Veggieman!

Dunno why they persist in keep updating that shape. BRING THE MIURA BACK!!!!

Curves are good!!

Edit: Hope Ferrari do a good job of reinventing this too:

It\'s in danger of ending up looking like a silly red Porsche from what I can see though...
