Hi!

I\'m painting a converted space marine for a painting competiton and I was thinking of using some NMM...
I wonder wich GW colors you use for Gold and Silver NMMs...
I am having problem coming over Vallejo colors but the day I do I willl get em...if they are good enough...

Thanks

I see nobody\'s replied to you yet.

There\'s several places on the web to find this information out---try a Google or Dogpile search. However, I\'ll tell you what I use, which is:

For silver, I\'ve used a range of greys from both Vallejo and GW. Make sure to start out with the lighter greys and make sure they\'re bluish ones, not reddish. Alternatively, you could mix your own. Mixing complementary colors gives you a dark grey or black; lighten this with white to provide you with a nice starting grey.

For gold, I\'ve used Vallejo and GW browns, but mine usually comes out very dark so I don\'t know if my advice is really of any use. The trick is making it yellow enough that it fools the viewer into really thinking it\'s gold. I haven\'t mastered that yet, haven\'t even come close.

and so are there more on the forum
Did you also read the articles of chrispy and honza about NMM? If you look at the colour they use then you can just mix it till you have the same colour

Have fun!
