Simple green questions?

So hey there Cmon!
so one dark and stormy night, i had the genius idea of hacking apart my painted demon prince, and replacing various body parts with scratch built ones made out of plasticard superglue, green, and grey stuff. so the conversions are almost done, but me( being an idiot) didn't remember to strip the model before i went all gung-ho with the conversions ( i often get carried away with a project). My problem now is that i have a half painted model that i want to strip, but i don't know what the effects of the simple green will be on superglue/greenstuff/greystuff/plasticard, and i don't want to ruin my week of converting : (. any imput from experienced strippers (miniature strippers, not the dancing variety) would be hugely awesome :D i want to get this badboy painted asap..

I have used Simple Green for 2 years now. I bet I have stripped over 100 models. It has never had any negative effect on any of my models. If the super glue never had a bond and was just sitting there, it can slighly weaken that joint. Have have also stripped models that had Green Stuff on them and it did not even touch it. If you are at all worried about it, add some more water. In the US you can get the Concentrated 1 gal for just over $1.00 more then the "pre-mix" spray bottle the the mix is simply 50/50 water simple green.

I put mine in a jar of some kind, something large enough to submerge the model and let it soak in a 70/30 or 50/50 (does not need to be exact at all) for 24+ hours. The longer you let it sit, the easier it will be to take off. Then I use an old tooth brush to brush the deeper places where paint sits and the stubborn parts. Remember, when you brush it, do not let it get in your eyes and clean up after it before it dries as it will leave colored spots that can be difficult to clean up after (it is mostly the old paint).

Never had a single model damaged. I had an entire army I stripped over the course of a month to paint up. Also remember to wash the model real well under water (warm to hot works best for me) after and while cleaning it off or you will leave the simple green behind and paint will not bond well to it.

I hope this helps.

As a side note, WOOT, one of my first posts are helping someone and not asking dumb painting questions :D.
