Last year i was very busy... only few time available, so i did above all conversions and sculpture with my loved green stuff!!! lol

Now i found some times, and i\'ve painted a rare chaos dwarf of citadel \'80! ;)
More than one year has passed, but i\'ve tried to do my best in few time...
It\'s only a WiP, what do you think about it?
I was inspired for the NMM to the beautiful artworks of tony manero... but i\'m not manero and you can see very well this!!! lol

Here is the WiP ... a bad photo with flash (i\'ve did this tonight! lol ).

I\'ll post better photos when I\'ve finished it! lol

Base is only started... i\'ve taken dozens of moltenlead bases... i love them, above all dwarves\' ones! :D

If a moderator sees this I\'m sure it\'ll be moved to the right place.

I like where this is going! That purple colour looks great. I\'m not sure if the white suits this mini... I would prefer a darker colour there.

I love these old chaos dwarves. I remember being excited about GW resurrecting the chaos dwarves in the early 90ies, but then they had them completely re-designed into some of the ugliest minis ever done. :( The ones from the 80ies, however, rocks!

Yes, I\'ll retouch those whites... effectively it\'s better a darker tone for him!

And i also love very much this old chaos dwarves... and hate those of \'90 with those ugly hats! :)

Looking good agree with Ritual ..lose the white....
The blue and purple work well together..
Gotta love those classic chaos stunties.

I\'m finishing the base and some retouch... i\'ve dlete \"whites\" as suggested by ritual... now i think it\'s better with its darker tone!!! :D

yes, the purple is very nice and well blended. The blue on the back needs a little more blending, I think. Agree with removing/darkening the white.

Overall, very nice!

I\'ve modified my dwarf... according to advices of ritual, i\'ve given a more darker tone and more smoothness to this dwarf... i love this sculpture, i think old citadel miniatures are so fascinating and rich of pathos! :)

Can you suggest what type of freehnds can i put on the cuffs for this chaos dwarf? :idea:

it looks really excellent so far, the purple armour looks great! I haven\'t seen this mini before, it\'s so cool...why did they get rid of them, argh! I like the new sleeves - these new photos are much better, the colours look much nicer.

For the freehand on the sleeves, a swirly pattern might look too graceful for dwarves, so maybe you could do a line of runes going down each sleeve - straight lines, looking more blocky and dwarf like.

Old Chaos Dwarves rock ;) As the squats did , very nice work on the armor and the blue cloak looks very good ;)

as i said i love the purple tone on the helmet, very rich and blended but the best part of this mini is surely the long blue cloack, you painted perfectly the folds :)

no no, I said I think you should NOT do a swilry pattern - too fancy and graceful, it would not suit the dwarf race I think haha. So it\'s like Ritual said - you need something spikey and angular, with straight lines and angles! If you want to do runes, you could just use some lord of the rings type ones, like this:

(this actually says \"the lord of\" - they are the runes from the hobbit!)

see how they are using all straight lines - it\'s more dwarf-ish to do that, because they can be carved easily into rock etc.. And stright lines are strong and sturdy, like a dwarf!

So you could either make up more evil-looking ones yourself, or you could use lord of the rings runes and write something that will make sense to people who can read those runes! (like me haha)
