You can find runes and other symbols if you google them :p

You can either go for genuine Norse runes, or the made-up LOTR runes...

Either way there are plenty of sites.

My last WiP!
This is the almost the first time i did some freehands on my miniatures... do you have some advices before i finish this mini???

I think it looks great - but rather monotone...
Maybe a few differently coloured feathers in the helmet plumage?

Nice work on the runes though :)

A spacial thanks to Automaton and Ritual... your advices were very useful, i\'m more satisfied than the first WiP... a darker tone, more atmosphere!

Massimiliano, just a quick observation but what do you think to picking out all the rivets on the helmet and shoulder pads in Gold.
That should give a bit more strength and continue the gold that you have on the sword.

Nice work, good job with the freehands - it gets easier with practice. I think Dragonsreach is right, maybe you could pick out the rivets with gold or silver - you could do some rust or verdigris then! haha sorry, I don\'t want to give you more work...haha

Oh and by the way, I was meaning to compliment you on your great PVC bases - they look so good, I will have to get some one day soon!

It will be on auction with rolljordan on the first days of august! :)

I\'m so happy for all of these advices... i\'ll start today another chaos citadel dwarf but this time I\'ll use metallics!

Thanks for your kind words about my bases... i\'m making them from 3 years but this last years i\'ve improved them and now they\'re more clean and perfect... i\'ve chosen most expensive pvc black plastic and now i\'m very satisfied with final results! :)

Now I\'m searching a new design for them... if anyone has an idea, please tell me so i can change their design! :)

This is a rare example of my bases, i don\'t produce so much elaborated bases... to many time! lol

I did the vote thing. I think the head gear looked better in the wip than the finished product. (More contrast) Nice paint job tho.

The the head, i\'ve not retouched it from his WiP... it\'s the same, but the picture published on cmon is only 94kb compared with the WiP of more than 200kb, so the difference on its head is due to lack of definition of the last photo published here on coolminiornot! :)
