Hi all

Just posted my third mini on the site, a sister of battle with heavy flamer I\'ve beenpainting up just for fun these last few weeks.

She\'s here:

Let me know what you think... I\'m still working out a few techniques and trying to find what style and type of mini suits me best as I work towards my first Golden Demon.

Many thanks in advance for your advice and feedback all!!

i didn\'t vote because of the bad camera angles.

from what i saw tho you have a very nice model there.

good contrast and nice freehand. the base looked rather cool as well.

try taking a picture looking almost straight at the model instead of looking down at it.

hope this helps.

I Agree !

I have left some comments below your mini, basically a bit bolder with the highlights here and there. Also a full on straight photo shot would have been good like the man above says(cant remember how to spell some of the more crazy names). Keep up the great work, GOD bless .............VINCENTI :D :bouncy:

Nice stuff dude, i love me a nicely painted SoB. I did the vote thing and a fer suggestions, most my opinions... The hair i think should be highlighted up a bit with a pure white. A stright on picture would be nice to give a better view of the figure. The base is neat but the exposed wires should be trimmed back. you have this small blast hole in the corner and these really long wires exposed. The flamer fule tanks should be a differnat shade at least since it\'s almost the same yellow as used ont he warning stripes, it kind of blends in togeather as is. The freehand is great and i love the depth of your reds.

Thanks for the comments so far guys...

Sorry about the photo angles... to be honest I didn\'t even really notice there wasn\'t a proper low-angle front shot... I just picked the shots that looked good!

The hair ISactually highlighted with pure skull white on top... but will have a play and see if I canbrighten it up a bit more.

Many thanks

Ben

PS: oh yes... not sure what the comment about the yellow and the fuel tanks meant? The fuel tanks are the only yellow things on the model, the black warning stripes are just painted over the yellow tanks in a band around the middle... or did you mean the yellow of the tanks is too close to the gold of the pipes and straps?

i can see what he meens.

the yellow part of the stripes that are on the fuel tanks should be a different shade and tone of yellow.

this will make them stand out more.

Well I think this is a stonker, even with the camera angles, the reds are outstanding and it is scoring way lower than it deserves, currently 7.2 at the time of writing this i myself think this is a mid to high 8.
