Hey guys, I hope you like the \"new\" model I just posted. It\'s actually about 2.5-3 years old, but I never quite finished it up to the standards I would\'ve liked. A few areas were rushed due to a deadline, and some areas were out of date after my army color scheme evolved somewhat over time.

Naestra and Arahan are finally complete, and their big green friend Ceithin-Har is finished too. Thanks to Skeeve for giving me a nudge to finish the model up after all this time.

BTW a repeating pattern in the big scales on his back was probably one of the craziest things I\'ve ever done on a model. It took forever to figure out a pattern, and then I had to try and keep the pattern going despite the spiralling tail and the massive amount of vines, leaves and little forest spirits clinging to his body. I regretted that very quickly, but the result is nice. You can totally see there\'s a pattern in the consumate V-shaped scales. The little round ones are totally random.

That\'s cool! a real feast for the eyes and the bold colours work really well.

Would be nice to see some close up pics of Naestra and Arahan but I really like it.

It\'s got a GW studio look to it, and I mean that as a compliment

Naestra and Arahan don\'t deserve closeups, the dragon took 10x as much work as they did lol

I think I estimated the build time at about 5 hours (the head is magnetized in case I ever want to play a game without the special character rules I could theoretically paint and swap out a head with no rider) and the paint time was about 40 hours. I think I had 10 days to paint this thing while working 30 hours a week at GW retail... so suffice it to say all my spare time went into this thing. I think I watched nearly three full seasons of CSI on DVD while painting this thing.

Anyway I\'m glad you like it, even if the characters themselves are a bit simplistic.

NICE! I bought this model new, and it\'s been sitting on my shelf primed for 2.5 years. You make me want to hang it up. I love the pattern. Good choice of colors it\'s sufficiently different from the codex scheme to be cool, but still recognizable as a WE fig. Great!!!

I\'m glad the pattern in the scales is paying off, I was always worried people wouldn\'t ever notice it. I\'m also glad no one has noticed that he\'s missing his tongue... I lost the part at some stage during assembly and never got around to ordering a replacement lol

I really love this Dragon! I have one sitting here too, but its from the old cast and without these two nice ladies on it. Mine doesn\'t look anyway cool, I had so many troubles building it together. Parts broke away every time I thought it would be finished. He\'s still a Kamikaze guy, cause the base I used is way to small. So he did some spectacular dead jumps down the shelf! Believe me these dragons are not very elegant in air...

Funny thing is: I also lost the tongue during painting, just one day it was gone, never found it again. It was a miracle to me. I made a small one out of GS.

I really would like to see some closeups of the 2 WE gals, cause I think you painted them very good too. Also I\'m interested because I\'m thinking of making an Woman Eldar Farseer, so perhaps I could use a head...

btw, the lack of tonue actually helps this model in IMHO. I like him better without it.
