I only saw the last 20 minutes of the game.
And from those 20 minutes I can say Wales deserved that win, because England just fannied about.

To use a reverend-ism.....\"FAIR PLAY\".

It was a different story in the first half, DR. Wales looked like they couldn\'t play, turning the ball over a lot of times and failing a number of set pieces. That\'s why it was an even bigger disaster the way England played in the 2nd half.

Druids are always out :D

Latest research apparently showed that before teh game there were 3 sheep for every person in Wales...I reckon to have pulled off that second half we must have slaughtered half of them during the half time talk in the dressing rooms :D :D :D

I\'m not going to complain though a win is a win at teh end of the day :) Bet the pundits and bookies are\'nt happy now though it has thrown the whole competition into an anybodies game :)

Well, well, well. That was a turn up for the books wasn\'t it! We haven\'t played as poorly as that first half in ages. It was good to see Wales tighten up a bit in the last 5-10 mins of the first half as it kept us in touch. The start of the second half didn\'t really see any improvement, but we were still in touch with 20 mins to go despite that. England were as bad in the last 20-30 mins of the 2nd half as Wales were in the first, and when the first try went in (allied to Hook\'s amazing form with the boot), the players just suddenly looked taller and stronger and fitter. England on the other hand just shit out. I\'m not used to seeing that from England. Reading Hook\'s comments in the Welsh rag this morning, it was interesting to understand the dynamics on the pitch during the come-back. He pointed out that the feeling of confidence the team had - and the even greater feeling that England were playing scared - became palpable. It was in the air. Wales just knew at that point they were going to win if they got ahead. The last ten minutes was incredible as - for once - Wales put the ball up the jumper and closed a match down properly. That\'s hardly the norm!

Anyway, over an 80 min game Wales scored more tries and more points. Whether England switched off or not is immaterial as in the first half Wales weren\'t even switched ON! The only problem now is the idiots in Wales who know no better crowing on about another Grand Slam. It\'s bound to happen. Still, a win is a win, and when it\'s your first at Twickers in 20yrs it makes for a bloody good day out. I\'m a little bit worse for wear today

Plain and simple Wales did the work for it they wanted it...
I was watching the start of the second half when I got chance and was laughing at the commentators.. basically slagging Wales off for making basic mistakes even though the stats were showing Wales with slightly more posession less errors and more time in opponents half...England decided they\'d won and wether they played crap Wales played great or any other element As Reverend says more tries and more points in the game..Win.... A great day for Wales The performance and game itself was overall poor but 20 years since the last one so well done fellas..

England have a lot of things to correct if they want to pull this one back..including shedding a few of the beer guts showing through the squad....

Well for celebrating a 20 hiatus No-one can blame you.
By what you wrote you sounds as if you actually went, which would have made the day all the sweeter.

Congrats to the Welsh lads - they made my mrs laugh her knickers off.

England chucked it away. Gutless, heartless and inept performance in the second half.

:(

Donna, the Druids origonally came from Wales and are part of Celtic Law in this regard, Merlin was said to have been a Druid not a Magician depending on the version that you read and also Bodicia was said to have listened to her Druids before riding into battle against the Romans and other invaders.
Despite Stone Henge being in England the Druids have always been associated with Wales and just goes to prove that Wales owned half of England at one time until we had to give it back to them to stop them crying :D

Scotland were f\'ing TERRIBLE!!!! I turned it off after the ball was knocked on right into the arms of a frenchy at the try line  Piss poor performance! SHINANIGANS!

Ireland deserved a solid win , which I was chuffed about.

Nice turnaround by wales too! I was ready for turning that one off and all lol Maybe not a solid win, but a win!

I think the pressure of being favourites did for Scotland. A shame really, but then France at least made the effort in the forst half to move the ball. Eventually they were out of site. France weren\'t ultra-impressive, but given time they could be very interesting. I only hope Scotland don\'t find their spurs on Saturday against us! Di Luca had a shocking debut but improved slightly towards the end. That feller might get cited too for that butt. It was hardly a bad one, but that\'s not the point - it\'s the sort of thing the IRB doesn\'t like.

Head butting is normally a red card straight away, I was surprised the ref let him stay on the field??? Mind you there was a nasty punch/elbow just before that try went down which showed on the play back which might have been the cause of it all in the first place.

As for the try itself it definately looked like a double tap to me whereby he grounded it first before the line then made a second move to put it over, not that it would have made a lot of difference to the score line by much.

Yeah it was all a bit touchy.
Scotland have to dig their spurs in against your boys lol Saturday belongs to Scotland I reckon

Well more tepid hope really...

A lot of the papers are saying that just because we beat England we will now win the the grand slam...personally I am not convinced.

I think if Wales want the grand slam then they need to play a whole game like they played the last 20 minutes of the England match. I am not saying it isn\'t possible but I think it will take them a little while to settle down.

As to who will win next weekend, well just wait and see and hope either way it is a good match :D

A classic take on the old \"Won 0 Played 2\" shirt of yore!

True about the Grand Slam - only a fool would even think about it. We\'ve got to look at winning our next two at home first before we even think of a Triple Crown or a Championship, let alone a Grand Slam. Utter folly! I\'m nervous already. Luckily Gatland and Edwards seem the sort to keep feet on the ground...
