I\'ve just been fiddling about with some different photography bulbs (they\'re 6400k 25w daylight florescents) and ended up with a new pic of my Black Orc. In a fit of bravery I have decided to stick a non-resized version in the gallery for a laugh.

Has this been colour adjusted at all? I constantly struggle with colour balance, as anyone who looks at my pics can tell.

Only colour adjustment on the pic was \'remove colour cast\' function in Photoshop Elements as the original photo had a mild greenish tinge. Probably because the bulbs aren\'t quite colour neutral.

Really nice work mate, I also like the armour very much. I do have one improvement however -I think some weathering to the checks on the armour would enhance the look of the piece. But nevertheless a lovely model. :)

Don\'t let Sven hear that lol I can still remember his lifesize Celeborn head lol (I can\'t remember Sven\'s CMoN name, but I can his real name, wierd that.)

The blending is great, keeping up to your usual standards.

The weathering originally went over the black checks. I put the checks on at the basecoat level. Unfortunately the mini looked really scruffy like that so I neatened up the checks. I think if the fig was this big in reality the weathering would work much better on the pattern.

Very nice blending, and I love the armor! Great use of metallics, Im a big fan of the NMM but now youve got me wanting to try different effects with metallics. Howd you paint the armor?

Ah.. did I hear my name mentioned?

I actually have a life size on the head of Steves Boromir as well as that was one of the minis with a clear face that I owned at the occation of the photoshoot.. :)

Very nice job, and I know your minis hold up well to close scrutiny! :D Maybe a touch more of contrast to the skin though, using some small points of light, would enhance the finish even further.
