f*ck i started to clean and assemble the next mini yesterday evening... and started the base. im too addicted. boooo. ;(

There, there. There, there. We all share the pain and withdrawal symptoms when a brush hasn't touched our lips in while. Best to get it out of your system before leaving on holidays. Or just take a brush with you.

Siegfried after Midnight. Yeah my break didnt last long, but its great to paint without any pressure for a change. doing this in a way relaxed style :)

first wip, begun the skinjob of the torso. glued in the right arm and cut it at the wrist instead, to be able to paint the upper body in one go. the guy it bluuuue...


really starting to think about what to make for crystal brush. id prefer something GW as id like to tour some gamesday later 2014 (if there is any...). my best idea so far is a nurgle demon prince, using the plastic model as a base. and a blight drone head? hmm...

blight drone should've been plague drone, oc! ty trystan. expecting some heavy conversion work to get the demon prince look cool.

Hey! My main piece for CB is a GW mini - they do have some really good plastic models still, even if they are outrageously priced ;) and notice I added "plastic" in that sentence...
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Demon Prince Skel

i think you should make a diorama, wouldnt that be fun? i know your patience isnt the best, but you could paint different types of minis, that should keep you from getting bored! plus, the bigger the better!

ischa, Im not doing a diorama. not this time anyway, just too much work. and will also require a good plan when it comes to traveling. bigger is always better until you realise there is no way you can travel with the stuff in your hand lugage. my patience isnt the best? man you keep insulting me hehe ;) seriously, to paint a mini that takes 3-4 months of everyday painting i dont consider bad patience mate.

thats funny Zab, thats not the first of that particular mini ive seen with a fallen banner.it really do suck.

Cyn, im very happy i did the dread, and its actually pretty funny what people think about my SENMM bluebot. some think its the best thing they ever saw, and some dont understand it at all. Im very happy they liked it at Euromilitaire, as they judge the technique much more than others.

last but not least the blueberry anabola smurf. Ive been watching Corpse Bride too much lately, love the color setting there :)



painted some more since that photo, basically just the metal left. not bad for 3 days of painting (about 8hrs). also built a base, nothing fancy though. stay tuned...

Interesting colour scheme. Looks good, but it's difficult getting a sense of what it will look like when it's finished. Besides the blue skin, of course...

belgian blue is actually a perfect name. going for that from now on :good: :)

doing a veeeery limited palette here, everything is basically based on smoke and midnight blue color. metal is probably going to get a red tint though.
the base is probably having the same limited palette.
