i think not. first of all the deamon were announced 2½ months(?) before the event which isnt that awesome lot of time for normal people. basically everyone thought the comp was dead before that happened. also there is a big event in netherlands also this weekend, scale model challenge, which draw most of the attention it seems. Polish Hussar is next weekend.
i expect the single categories to be very tough though.
its basically dead silence on fb, im used to load of previews, teasers etc from people painting for the deamon but this time ive seen 2-3 people publishing stuff. the interest feels very low. but really i hope im wrong and this isnt the last GD ever!
if i win a deamon i promise to pay tribute to the bloodfather though
