I love how this one has started off. I truely think your dark shadding on it is better then most peoples out there because too many people try to make it too cartoony! Cheers!

Phew... this Thread on Page 2?! Can`t believe that you re falling back into your old behavior to NOT post any progress until your mini is done. Stef, I am really sad about this! As always I can`t wait any longer to see some new shots of your rats and the base. Hurry up!

not been able to paint much lately cos of the holidays and the fact that my son was baptised today so we've had another huge celebration here. but i hope to get my shitt together now and continue the ratz asap! ;)

rest of the mini will be painted after the base. so, over to ogre number two...

Hey, great to see more stuff from you; it's f*cked up but it work, you got some understanding of colors that completely elude me.
The spikes on the armor plating could need some more definition, maybe more shading on the underside.

That's really something good. The skinstone is very original and much better than GW's.
Yet, I think you should paint the fur in a brighter colour as the mini looks too dark.

superb skin tones though it does look remarkably similar to someone whos been beaten with a sack of oranges, the armour could do with the contrast upping for definate

Nice work Skel, I'm looking forward to seeing the next one, your "minor" conversion really did the trick this time. As someone who just gapfills with the putty it's really quite exciting to see how you're able to neatly & confidently tweak a mini to suit your vision :)

thanks folks! lots of wips in progress here now, my thread disapperared from first page awfully fast :good:
im going to work the metals a little more as soon as ive based the guy, im going to add to the chain on the back so it reach the ground, so its some more metal work there anyway.

btw hey empchild, problem with your account? in your earlier posts you are stated as "guest"... i almost thought you abandoned me/us :D

first pictures of the next ogre is comming up real soon, unfortunately no pictures of the conversion before the priming, my camera ran out if batteries and i felt obligated to use precious spare time best way possible...
