okay, it idint become much wip of this, but the king is done! a pleasure from beginning to end to paint thins miniature, im almost considering to buy another copy later the batch of pictures was to embarrising to show because of poor quality though, used another cheap cam instead of the usual one, so all grainy pics... this have to be a teaser instead.

only used 2 colours to shade everything on the mini, gw midnight blue and vallejo smoke to get a very cold feeling. now, time to work the base!

Beautiful dude! Any tips on how to do cobwebs? I'm painting a Vampire count army and I think adding cobwebs to them would be awesome!

Wow, really great job, once again. That lich king gives me the creeps, and that little base contributes much to the atmosphere.
If I had to guess, I'd say you used some Hirstarts stones for the stairway...

PS: In the picture before there is a small bead & wire maze next to the lich king. So will that mini become the next toy for your little son?

paintingpauper; i wouldnt do cobwebs on a whole army, its really a bugger to get to look god. you put a drop of water on the mini, put som cotton in there and with a wet brush you "drag" every fiber so they are stretched between two obects. then, use small drops of matt varnish to fasten the two ends. takes a little practise to get right but can look really cool when done in a good way. id say im fairly happy with half of it

DunErwit; yeah HirstArts it rocks. and yeah, perhaps i should use this mini as a toy for junior. to threat with when he dont want to sleep, sigh....
