Limited and limited... Priorities my friend, priorities! It's the woman's job to nurture the younglings when the man wants to paint! :rotfl:

Beautiful, the metals and OSL eyes are excellent! The robes have a really cool effect and it really works with the entire mood of the model! Great stuff!

Yeah, got to echo a bunch of statements here and say you have a knack of nailing atmosphere in your work, man. Love the black/purple/white cloth and the glow is awesome! Seriously nice work, dude, Bavo.

Sleipnir is correct that you can do it better... but you always end up making the next one better and better than the last.
To be honest your work is consistent and near perfect, your tones and atmosphere is rich, the mood is always expressed from you right on to the model...
I love the color palette deep and sinister...

Great job on this guy. The face and OSL is what sticks out most for me as the high point of the mini. Really adds a lot of character. Interesting color choice on the robes. Thumbs up! Let's see what's next ;)

yoik! had to dig in real good to find my thread! time to give a little update at least then...
proof of that i actually begun to paint that eldar dude. finished the cloak and backpack and then, well... pretty much lost interrest in the mini, and ewery detail became more worse then the detail painted before. so, here we goooo... dont know when (or where...) i ever continue this guy...

totally crap pictures, but it might give a clue the whole freehand motive is pretty hard to see though. oh well :D

so, i started to work on another project, i do have a soft spot for ogres and in particular the ratty ones. so, even though i had my doubts i did buy a set of the new released gw ones, including the screaming bell ogre, IRL i was positivly surprised actually, rather cool miniatures! so, another squad on the go! im also working on a display table of which pictures might come in the near future. the idea is to make a scene where the ogres are chained up in thier nest while not in battle. the first ogre out is going to have its original pose as i like it. also, two packmasters is going to be there, all on original gaming bases.
first one out, no advanced conversations as said, i just hated that fur they sculpt on him...

Solid work as always, any chance you can bulk out the back a bit as it would give it a truely grotesq look.
