hadnt in mind any osl really, but more regular goggles to make him a bit less robotic... hmm... still the head should be the focal point imo. will have o blend it even harder then :D

updates! nice weather and some other stuff has halted this project a bit (too little apartment, and gf occupying preacious hobbyspace with sewing machine...grrr ;) ) at least the upper body is more or less finished, metal plates at the belt and the boots still left. didnt use any osl at the eyes, obviously.

This is gonna be another kickass mini!

I like the non-glowing eyes and your decent freehand.

Maybe some rust on the "pipes"?

WOW that is amazing! the skin is so creepy and realistic! , the glassy eyes and hood are scary as well, looks like something out of a horror film! ;)

(saw that classic Frankenstein the other day lol) So I think you nailed the eyes and have given him some real menace Skels, I have been checking for an update all week on this thread, now I rest easy for a day or two, until I get the jitters again of course....

Wow! You're doing a fantastic job on this mini Skel! The skin...the eyes...great job. And to top it all off, your photos are really improving as well. Great work!

Hey skel,
looks great so far. The eyes rock! :) Maybe you could highlight the edges of the barrel a bit more to bring out the structure. Really a very dark miniature, but I would say the focus is now on the eyes and the forehead, so it works for me. :) Great job.
As for the weather, I know what you mean. It was damn hot here in germany the last couple of days so I just couldn't lift the paintbrush at all. LOL Hope I manage to paint a bit this evening. ;)

cheers folkes! not much time for painting lately but at least the ogryn is with the exception of some little details done! i can say, painting this miniature has not made me love forgeworld particulary, it had soooooo many flaws i had to correct that halted the painting progress. grrrr. next one forgeworld ogryn ill paint in the future will be inspected with magnifyer before i start the brushwork!

anyway here's some pictures. needless to say, pretty crappy ones. but still....
