Really? I liked it the first hour or so...then it all felt the same after that. Still the best 40k game in a long time, but still only average compared to some of the other awesome shooters around. I think they need to focus more on story, and i am sorry to say no marines. Give us a inquisitor game ala Deus Ex or something.

Oh, yeah, it's definitely not the best game around, nor the best shooter. It's just a lot of fun to hose people with the heavy bolter or to burst-jump after a scared opponent, then corner him and chop him to bits...
BF3 on the other hand (beta, w000!) is awesomeness times 2... but 'the being shot in the head' when just spawning can get frustrated. Space Marine offers the opportunity to go at it like a mad dog and not get shot with a single bullet.
But I agree, we need another kind of of 40K game. Something inquisitor thing would be awesome, so would be an RTS like Supreme Commander but with EPIC, oh buy we need an RTS on that scale asap... titans, superheavies, thousands of troops... gimme gimme! Or an even larger scale, like Star Wars Empires thingie, with interplanetary spaceflight/battles and rts planetside. *fall of his chair frothing at the mouth and trembling*

Garrrgh! Ti' appears we have hijackers mateys - garrrggh. Here be I expecting lots of wonderful pictures from SkelS and all I see be talk of video games!! Garrrgggh. Me and me lads are getting ready to repel boarders - garrrgh, we all know that Cornish pirates be the best pirates in the world mateys so get thy video game talk gone from these here lands or you'll be feeling me Slayer Sword-- garrrgghhh. After I have me some pasties and rum of course. Garrrggghhh.

Tis no good trying to tug on me 'art strings cos being the blackest pirate on the seven seas I has no 'art laddie. I took it out many a year ago and cast it to the depths of Davy Jones locker. A nest of wasps lies where it should be and I makes no distinctions between who feels the edge of me sword in these dark times. Garrrgggh. Although all that aside, you might sway me with a drop of rum....garrggh.

Aye! well, that's partly true. not much progress, much because that junior having a bad cold so much whining... dad exhaused...

ok just to please you guys here's some shots of current status... the back is blended a bit too hard because its going to be hit with a blue lamp later with some fancy osl. yeah. and the slime is going to be cut once the glue and water effect has dried, of course.

Great Stuff mate, and sorry to whoever painted the original studio shot, but SkelS - you have managed to capture the atmosphere of the model far better than the original GW job. Nice one - blending rocks as usual!!
