Thanks for letting us know some of the colors you are playing with. It allows us puny mediocre mortals to believe we can steal some of your painting awesomeness :)

thanks for all support guys, you rock! :good:

i feel really gutted right now cos i dropped the bloody camera at the floor, if you can call it dropping, just a few cm's but it seemed to be enough. now its not working anylonger. zoom error. f*cking s*it! i was really enjoying creating this sort-of-step-by-step. lets see if i can figure out how to operate the cam i have at work. never buying an olympus again for sure!

at least, today IS painting day!

Noooooo!!! That is tragic! This step by step has already been so informative.
I hope you manage to keep it going.

Superb work skel. I'm always inspired by your interesting colour choices and this step by step really demonstrates your colour theory. Loving the way this skin is turning out.....I bet it will look nothing like the day glow pink it started out.

Super super

ok, back on track with a different cam.
painted some veins to make it littlebit more interesting using dark angels green (gw) and scaly green(gw). um. not much else to tell in these images i believe.

added highlight, basecoat+white then up to pure skullwhite (gw). became verrrrry pale! have to smoothen things out, especially at the nose area...
more glazing with warlock purple, blood red, smoke and burbonic brown. most of the stone grey highlight dissapeared into oblivion.

realized the vein didnt totally work, so had to highlight (scorpion green(gw)+skull white) and shade (dark angels green+lich purple) them a bit.
more shading using burbonic brown in a mix with smoke. blood red. phew! im loosing it :D
think thats it for now, have to move forward to the other side if i shall be able to finish this piece ever...
