very lovely, as always. Good to see the ol' Skel shading coming in to play. The photos are super helpful, btw, for those of us who want to improve our shading/colour work. I very much agree with what KBear said. Keep up the good work! :)

Its a shame you will not have the time to continue on this step by step. I just pulled out an Island of blood ogre for fun and am really happy with the results so far.
For that I thank you.
I look forward to seeing this beastie complete. Hope you make your deadline comfortably.

Well ditch the job and paint full time I mean its far more important to satisfy the painting cravings of forum members than support your family isn't it?;) Lol

Beautiful, SKells. I have been waiting for you to paint this fella for a while, and I have t say that you are doing an amazing job. And I appreciate you taking the time to show your process. I hope you will piece it all together and make it into an article. But for the comp, good luck, I know it will do well.

thanks folks!

things didnt rock so hard i wanted yesterday, still got the clothing left. was halted by a forgotten colour (who the heck dont own scaly green? most improtant colour there is!). if i hadnt the big base left then i wouldnt matter, but im pushing it here. perhaps it would just be better to enter him at uk instead, but yeah, there is time to improve him between the two events.
