I've been following this for a while, I'm just usually too busy to comment. Really glad you changed the axe handle, i'm sure it'll make a massive difference. The painting is looking great, the details like the freehand on the blunderbuss handle are awsome.

This thread is always a great read, keep it up!

ill post some updates soon, although now im fully occupied painting Elvis if ill be able to finish that one before xmas. can say its not going to become my greatest paintjob, kind of rushing it unfortunately. i just cant paint minis i consider uncool :/ stay tuned...

The Elvis is so out of character for you that it must be a Christmas gift for someone else, right? The lucky one surely will be very pleased :)

alex; yep elvis is a gift. nothing id ever paint otherwise, its such a bore... :)

been disecting that owl peller. honestly, not sure it was worth the effort. got like 3-4 really nice rodent skullz, but the bones... for people that eat fish (yuck!) you could pick such bones instead, its such tiny ones. still got at least some nice stuff to use at the toads base though.

you dont eat fish? Dude, seriously - get yourself over to Scotland and find yourself a fish supper.(a proper one, in a seaside town, not a nasty greasy one from a big city.) Food. Of. The. Gods, lemmetellya.

heh nah, no fish. im strictly vegetarian you know, and its not because of the flavor ;)

been painting more on little Elvis. booh. such a boring pj! luckily is nearly done, just the microphone left. not near a masterpiece but i hope the old man will dig it :) decided to do a rather pale paintjob.

Re: fish - ah well, to each his own. I refuse to eat fermented beans or raw sea urchin (and folks here think I'm wierd), so I'm in no position to call people out on their personal eating preferences, whatever the reason may be :)

Minis look great, and the base is intriguing. Water effects are incoming, I assume?

ty a lot people, but im a bit shocked you didnt knew elvis worshipped nurgle lol :D
no water effect on this base though, its too much work and i save that for later. oh and dfb, i dont think the kings base is going to be more exciting than this...

Well, for a mini you don't like it's verry well done :)

Can't wait to see the Nurgle champion finished with the base!
Love that dude and the freehands are amazing!

looking really great there mate, you did a good job on the elvis. i'm sure the reciever will be proud.
i'm also intruiged about the nurgle base. it's seems like it's really going to turn out interesting

Well, I don't manage to imagine what the base will look like on the end. Can't wait to see it!!!

The details you add on the skin are awesome, love the craquing effect, it looks like he's gone fall in pieces and millions of bugs will come from is body. So insane :)
He's is really disgusting but in a good way!
