Nice job skel, look forward to the final pics. Goliath looks like a very fitting mini for you, I'm assuming it will get the classic skel treatment. Maybe a spot of SENMM for the armour :p hehe

10 ball that must have been a very stupid donut... Skel what material did you use to make the smoke? I want to steal it for my hellbrute :)

cheers all! will be nice to get some photos today and close the bag here, been living with this cybot far too long!

Kretcher, the smoke is made by örontopps; "ear-cleaning-cotton-things" :D basicly just cotton. add soem wooden glue(+little water) then just drag it out with a tweezer or someting sharp. pretty easy, but it took some tried before they became as good as i wanted them.
contrast contrast more contrast! But its nice to know little jr approve your helbrute right? ;)

taking it easy with the hobby during this weekend, but made some basic basebuilding at least. some more stuff will be added later after its painted. (i know it looks a bit sandy atm...)

the big head is a poor cast of a bust i made myself in plaster, not close to the real deal but made a cool broken statue.

with the guy on...

hmm... seeing him on it now make me realize some things. i probably have to position him more to the center/left on the plinth as he is turned to the right to make the scene look right(!). much to think about... :D

That looks like it's going to be awesome when you finish it. Can't wait to see how you paint it up.

PS - Thanks for the comment on my gladiator. It's great to hear that from an artist whose work I look to for inspiration (just bought a bunch of nurgle figures... can't wait to start).

PPS - I'm definitely going to use that smoke technique next time I have a mini with a smoke stack. Simple idea and an excellent result.

Nice looking minis. BTW: Who has made that cool looking Goliath(?)...that barbarian dude? If you mentioned that, I just didn't notice. Its gonna be cool as well I'm sure. Those "korvapuikot" eller örontopps seems to work rather well and it looks rather nice swirling some.

I wish I had done more with my base like you did with yours but hey maybe I will for the next one. BTW you can see mine next week as I am entering it in the crystal Brush.

cheers people, im not painting much at the moment. lost some of the painting inspiration but i hope it will return soon.

thanks Kretcher! actually a pretty good competition this year which was fun! the most surprising that happenend was that Finnpalm actually entered the contest. at least in a way. some kid had entered one of his old pieces in the competition in his own name. hilarious! =)

So did you take a picture of it so I can enjoy and see his painted stuff? I believe that Stockholm also was tougher this year. But don´t have anything to compare with. btw. do you have any hasselfree figures? we could both go for one painting competition over at Wamp, might get you some inspiration?
