Voted. Very nice mini. I need to work on my glowie effects, I haven't gotten them right enough to even post them.. Any tips?

I wonder where you get those tiny chains for your nurgle conversion? Trying to find some of those.

@Khonner: One way is to try out FORGED MONKEYS glowing pigments to make them pop. Just check MASSIVE VOODOO for 'em.

just realized i got some more wip shots. after a few weeks of nurgle blessings, at least i have more less finished the upper body. probably going to add more details (like, skullz etc) later though. i am really consider to not use the plague drone wings i had intended, hes got a lot of details as it is and i dont want him to drown so to speak. the left had can still be removed (ned to fix the joint there more) to be able to paint the torso.


the gasmask-tank is also removable so far, and in this picture not totally in the correct position


still waiting for the last parts to arrive- legs. which going to be a mix of this plastic deamon prince and the nugle csm deamon prince... and some cogs probably :)


waiting for the real urge to paint to arrive...hmmmm....

not an awesome lot to show, but i got the legs yesterday and will assembly the last parts this weekend then finally painting time.

started a littlebit with the banner as i had to paint at least a little. more fun than building, really.


just an early wip, but basic pattern knocked in anyway. will add some more bitz on it later too, like skullz etc ;)

Very much like the skull design on the banner clever melding of the skulls eye sockets and the nurgle motif. TrystanGST that's a very nice compliment to me there comparing me to those guys. :good:

finally finished with the building process, phew! have to fix joints for the left hand and wings later though when i assemble them. decided to go with wings after all to enhance the wasp-ish look. only thing missing here is a shoulder pad on the mech-arm.






time to hit the brush indeed

That's spot on the stance looks like hes just landed. Is that's just a lump of cork for the base or is it a hardened slurry of grit?

i havnt dared comment this yet:p i´m not so sure about the long fingers on the right hand. to me, they´re just to straight! look less like weapons, more like a pen knife;) like where this is going though=)

yeah i think im going to change the right hand, although i have no real idea at the moment. really like to keep it mecha though. might remove the "finger" and figure out something later while painting, i really want to begin now :)

andy, its just a bit of cork. base of the base ;)
