the right leg at waist joint look a bit out of place in my opinion.
Other than that it looks really great!
Maybe the mecha arm can be bulked up a bit , just saying.. :)

A possible solution to the finger problem could be to add a knuckle joint which would counter act the straightness problem, as would be a shame to get rid of those fingers completely.

Yeah, or just angle the blades off the straight tubes. Maybe also run a spline along the top of the tubes as well...like a hydraulic line, tendon, or control link.

thats not a bad idea. hmm.

bobilero, actually ive been very careful to try getting the waist joints approximately the same, but (un)fortunately anatomical correctness is not exactly nurgles strongest skill ;) will take another closer look later and see if i need to do something about it though, possible hide the joint a little with metal plates etc. too much work to hack it off now. thanks for input!

This looks like it is going to be a beast to paint. Lots of hard to reach areas, but it is going to look awesome painted.

a beast yeah :) but many of the components can still be removed, like the left hand, wings and breather-tank. anyway... changed the claws a bit. also bulked up the right leg to match the joint on the right a bit more.

thanks friends, i really should start painting it but it really sucks at the moment, i have no spare time whatsoever :(
at least he is primed now, and most of the sculpting and joints look good enough.

Very impressive work, as always! Looking forward to seeing him painted. :) I love the attention to detail on the arms especially.

merry christmas all of you! personally im just happy its done with, 365 days until next one, yay!!! yeah over here we celebrate christmas the 24th, not the 25th :)

now i just hope i can squeeze in some painting soon... sigh...

Just too bad I am not living in Göteborg... no one around here (Västerås) that I know about that want too to some painting of figures that is trying to be above table top...

Have fun thou :) and perhaps sometime this year I will be able to meet with you, but the chances are slim. Getting a house and that will take "some" of my free time.

Yes try not to let the house know when you have extra money as it will hurt itself just to get you to spend the money on it. Shhh, I can feel mine listening right now....:quiet:
