thanks folks, actually the wight starting to be one of my favorites too, have to paint more undeads. the candles are indeed cotton, i dip ear-tops in watered wooden glue and use a needle to pull out some fibers, quite easy but might take some goes before you get something that looks good enough. i did smoke on my bluebot the same way.
lee, i have to payback lotr category from last time 0 - 1 ... although i think ill use this at salute too, im going to dump it with you afterwards for a month plenty of time for you to ruin it

Agree with the rest I like the candle part, need to test it
Also great ide to leave it with Lee, will generate a phtoshop post on what he will do with your figure proberly use NMM on it.
Ohh and the subject of NMM and the pic you are using it should now be Machete dont NMM but Skelettets does...

no worries, after this marine im going back to TMM. Ive actually already started next guy with some massive metallic metal that is going to take me forever to paint.

iateyourbananas; i have totally cleaned my inbox i have like 2 stored messages and it still tell me its full. this problem occurred after my paid subscription went out, i suspect its a way to punish me for not paying anymore (?). better send a mail instead, stefanjohnsson(a)hotmail.se

nice call Bailey. that sent items folder really needed some cleansing. guess the end subscription lower the allowed items a lot otherwise i would had problems a long time ago.

started out one of these pretty well known guys. as ive seen so many copies of sigmarines painted NMM, much thanks to Ben i presume, i really wanted to do this in a fancy true metal style. turns out pretty shiny
i do understand however why box art and artist who mainly publish stuff online paint non metallics though because its so much harder to get good photos of TMM (its actually depressive to see the difference between this picture and IRL)
anyway, painted with a slightly green metallic basecoat (one in the scale75 tmm paintset) shaded with vallejo smoke glaze and some red / black red.
any ideas welcome

I can sort of imagine what it looks like in real life, since I have seen earlier stuff from you. But yeah, metallics are a b***h to photograph! I think you're on to something here, though. This look is immensely preferable to the gold NMM+blue colour scheme that seems predominant. This will look much more grimdark!
