Slaanesh Penitent Engine Conversion - suggestions

I\'ve never much cared for the Chaos Dreadnoughts. The Penitent Engine, on the other hand...

Basic ideas are, well, pretty basic. I would:

1. Remove the blade and flamer on one arm and replace it with a custom or converted weapon (las-cannon in my case).
2. Replace any inappropriate iconography - although there doesn\'t appear to be much
3. Paint it in the appropriate colors.

Otherwise I\'m looking for some suggestions before I post my other ideas to see what folks out there in CMON land think.

Anything is welcome.

i\'m liking the concept. a good idea as the pilot is a bit of a \'bondage freak\', strapped in tight with all those wire\'s lol. theres alot of purity seals mind you, in had to get place\'s. may take you a while but sounds great. get some pictures up when u can... good luck

Care to expound on that a bit for me? I\'m not sure what you\'re talking about.

Purity seals I like. My Chaos Lord and each of the Aspiring Champions is sporting quite a few black seals. I actually intend to add more to the model. Probably a lot more.

I was planning on doing some heavy conversions to the penitent engine myself. One of the ideas I was throwing around was putting the chasis on dreadnaught legs and replacing the arms with those for Ghazkull Thraka.

Nice choice of arms.

The trick for me at this point is that I generally love the Penitent Engine model. The pose, sculpt and detail are all exactly what I\'d ask for if I were starting from scratch. The problem that creates is trying to find a way to make it more Chaosey without making it just look silly.

I did think about replacing the arms, but the arms and legs work so well together to make the whole thing look... well, dangerous to the operator, that I\'m reluctant to part with them.

So here I mull some more...

If you are make a Slaanesh Dread then it has to be slim and althletic and asthetically pleasing whilst also disturbing. Tough call but orc bits and squat legs wont do it. the bondage dood is a good idea but also think about the eldar dreads. Something along those lines IMHO

i like the idea of the pilot being strapped in. maybe with hooks into the flesh. also like the idea of having painfully thin/zombie body because the pilot is having so much time thrashing everything that he/she forgets to eat
