Slaaneshi Demon WIP (Needs Help!)

Hey gang,

So, a while back i got this idea to convert up a demon based on the warmaster greater demon of Slaanesh, but converted up to regular warhammer scale. The conversion is done, and i\'m happy with the results on the conversion. However, once i began painting, I\'ve arrived at this point and I\'m not sure what to do next. So, The only part i\'m pretty satisfied with is the purple skin. What do you think... any suggestions?

The plan is to paint the base of the sword like a gem, the loin cloth/tabard in glossy black. If I can find some good chain, i\'ll be adding chains to the tabbard that wrap around the hip to the back. Anyway, let me know what you think...

ALL feedback is welcome. HELP!

Ah, now i can see in the photo that the reds need to come up a great deal. Thanks for the info. I think most of the purple is going to stay in the range it\'s at, since I want to stay with a dark and malicious feel.

As for adding some dirty golds, I thinking the gaunlet on his right upper hand, the chains and the finger nails on his his left hand, and the chains at his waist holding up the tabard.

Is there a good tutorial for how/where to get really good chain for this scale figure. Most cheap necklaces i find are too thick or too interlocked. Any suggestions for U.S. places to buy?

don\'t be afraid to use some cool colors against that nice warm scheme you have going. You could go with golds, silvers, blues, greens, it\'s really just up to you. If it were me I\'d look at adding some purple and blue with maybe a mix of gold and silver accents somewhere.

Hello there! I will give you my opinion tonight in person, but, for feedback purposes... I would do some fade on the face/maw. It looks almost beak-like, why not make that pop? The black idea works for me, kinda S&M, very prince of pleasure! Making it look like patten leather will be tough. I am sad that I have never seen this in person!!!!!

ps- YOU SHOULD BE FINISHING TROLLS!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback gang, i\'ll be shading and highlighting some of the reds tonight (i hope). Then I\'ll post a pict of what I\'ve got done. I added the chain to the hips so i\'ll be painting on that too.

@Chasepalaver: Thanks for the chain, It looks great on her, just the right scale.

If you don\'t want to take the purple highlight further I think you should darken the shade a bit as I think he needs a little more depth. Really like the black areas

Hey gang!

So I added the additional bit of chain to hold the tabbard, I highlighted the reds... a lot more than this dreadful pic can show. I adjusted the tones on the purples and added some gold (though this is only a base coat and NO WHERE near the final gold i\'ll be using).

Now my dilemma is what to do with the gloved hand and hilt of the sword. My idea now is to paint the finger nails on the opposite hand gold, leave the glove on the sword hand leather, then pick out the finger tips of the glove in gold along with some detail. The hilt of the sword will look like gem and the grip will be silver. Anyway...

here\'s what I\'ve got so far. All ideas are welcome!
