Hi,

I've recently gotten back into painting after finally getting settled into a new house and I decided to celebrate with a WIP log here on the CMoN boards. I started on a newly acquired Broga from Studio McVey. I love their entire range of resin limited editions and thought I'd start with the first one I acquired. If this one goes well I have a couple more lined up but it all depends on how this one turns out.
Anyway, here is the first WIP picture. Not really convinced about the metal but I'm still undecided on whether or not to change it.

Thanks for the replies guys. Progress so far is slow, but that's to be expected when trying new things.
Painted the other leg (some slight touch ups still needed) and started one the loin cloth. The cloth still needs a bit of shading and then I'm going to try my hand at some NMM freehand which will be a first for me. The skin also needs some more work. Going to shade a bit more with a red/purplish skin colour.

Thanks man. As far as randomness goes, I just named it that as my friends seem to think I have a completely random collection of miniatures compared to them. They only collect GW minis (one of 'em has some Infinity minis), while I collect mostly minis I like for painting rather than for gaming. However I do know that's more of a rule than an exception round these parts, so here you go.

Sorry for the late response, been a bit busy the last couple of weeks painting the house.
Anyway, the bronze is a basecoat of Dwarf Bronze washed with Leviathan Purple and then highlighted from Dwarf Bronze through burnished gold up to pure mithril for the final highlights.
As far as updates go I managed to get a little bit done but got sidetracked while finishing an infinity model.
