Hi everyone. :cute:

I have decided to dedicate more time to this hobby as a result of finding my local Malifaux scene. And seeing some of the models
that I get to play against, have skyrocketed my motivation when it comes to painting. Making me want to put a lot more time and
effort into honing my skills.

This is a wip I am currently working on, and I am open for all C&C. This is my first attempt at sketching and I feel like there
are several things that I have missed.

I am also open for colour suggestions for the skin, she is supposed to be a Zombie, but I feel
like the traditional rotten colours might not work for this sculpt.

For the zombie skin you could try just a normal skin colour, then use a green glaze to give it a sickly colour. Then perhaps a red/purple glaze in the shades if you want to push it further.

Thanks for the tip, sounds like a good way to do it.
Would you go through all the highlights etc, and then fill in the sickly glazes?

I also want to share this one, it is one of my latest finished pieces. I painted it up for a friend, so that he could include it in his DnD campaign.
I had to rush some parts in the end, but overall I am rather pleased with it and consider it one of my best paintjobs so far.

Here are some colours I have been thinking about using on Molly. The plan was using green on the dress,
purple on the flame (She got a flame in her missing hand) and the greyish greens on her skin. The shoes and
hair will most likely be black.

I am open to any feedback and/or other suggestions though!
I am painting her up for a competition and will most likely use way more time on her than I should.

A nice palette choice there... will be interesting to watch how it works, just keep you base coatsthin and sketch them in and see how it’s going to work... you can move and adjust the hues as it progresses to give it the feel your after.

Thanks, I just hope that I can manage to translate it to the mini when that time comes.
I also got some feedback on facebook about including some more contrasts.
So now I am looking for a contrast colour and I am currently leaning against gold.
