SM Chapter

I\'m starting a space wolves army, i\'ll be using the space wolves rules but not necessarily their colour scheme.

Heres my two options so far, one in a new red colour scheme and one in the more traditional, although darker, colour scheme.

If i go with the red one i\'ll be coming up with a new chapter name for it.

Which one do people prefer ?

imo i prefer the sw colour scheme but the red marine definatly needs something on them like a icon or something that shows there space wolves or i bet you will get lots of people asking you what chapter they are and are they blood angels

Well if i go with Red they\'ll actually be a custom or successor chapter, rather than \"space wolves\". They\'ll just use the SW rules.

Are you looking for a custom paint scheme to make your army unique? I think there have been plenty of red space marines. I like the black one with yellow / gold shoulders.

This might sound odd, but I did a small space marine army for someone who wanted to just have a different look. I found inspiration from USA american football team uniforms (NFL and college) also some inspiration from Warhammer Fantasy Empire units.

The client went with a purple / black scheme with white highlights. It turned out very well (i think he said it was deathwing?) I am not sure I dont play warhammer 40k
