Wow the newly designed GW site sucks. I know other people have said it but now I have been there and I have to agree. I know there was a masterclass article on the site, I think it may have been for painting an Honour Guard, but all I can find is this:

Told you the site was badly re-done.
When I click on it it works. So maybe I have a cookie letting them know what country I am from already set or something. No clue, I didn\'t design the site.
Generally though I just went to www.games-workshop.com clicked 40K, then clicked Articles and there were a list of articles and found two that seemed to apply.
Another suggestion. Google is your friend:

GW has taken alot of article\'s of there site for some reason, the old site had alot more info than this one im sad to say.

Anything you post from there will just bring you to the orginal home site (chooseyour country)
I know the recent white dwarf had some tips on painting Space marines
I guess a couple tips I can provide would be
choose your chapter / color scheme first before you even start to think about painting. From there it really isnt that hard to get a gaming standard level of paint on the guys, just basecoat with a darker shade of your color scheme, dry brush with a brighter shade and add little details as you see fit.

Look into buying the \"How To Paint Space Marines\" guide by Games Workshop. I also agree about the GW website. It is following in the same footsteps as White Dwarf. I used to love getting that magazine for the painting articles and gallery shots, now it sucks because they hardly do any of this.

There is the How to paint space marines book that GW prints also the last couple issues of WD have had nice articles on painting Ultras..
