I have a 1500 pt marine army, which i\'m revisiting and expanding.

First on the agenda are some power fist wielding vet Sgts - heres one i\'ve been working on this week.

This is looking gorgeous Rev! I am gonna chime in with like the chaos legs too.

The red and white really compliment the green and you have not over used these colours.

The white line on the shoulder guard sheild looks a bit wonky.

And doesn\'t he need to be on a carpetted base to fit in with the rest of the army?

Wonky lines is easily fixed matey, at least you removed the mouldlines so you are one up on me!

I think the eye may just be the angle from the picture.

Nice. Is he a loyalist chapter? Home-made?

Good simple shield heraldry too - gonna add any emblems on there or just leave it as is? Looke good either way.

DIT chapter, called hellcats. brief fluff is a salamanders second founding, same traits etc.

no chapter icon yet, sheild and shoulderpad have numerical icon 1 for squad designation.

man that\'s a great face painted. Can you mayby tell us how did you do those flsh tones ?

the armour look really neet but mayby it could use some scatches and highlights at the edges.

thanks guys - its raelly encouraging to feel like you\'re improving in your painting, and positive comments really help!

the face was SO much simpler than what i normally try and it looks SO much better too!

I got some \'P3\' paints for christmas, so i\'ve been trying them out a bit. I really like them personally.

I did a basecoat of khardic flesh (which is V similar to valejjo tan which i normally plump for) then worked the highlights up using midlund flesh (also p3) finished with a weak khardic flesh wash - tho wasnt sure it made much difference tbh.

Will post some unit pics soon, I have a whole 2000 pt army now in these colours - I\'ll try to post some piccies this wk.
