But you still can\'t put things in the shopping cart, so I don\'t think it\'s actually open yet. ;)

From what I can work out from the (rather incomplete) line website for Smog 1888, there are supposed to be games attached to the minis. So ok, you can\'t slap them down next to your average GW regiment, but I don\'t think they\'ll be \"useless\" or display only. Although you\'re braver than I am if you feel comfortable gaming with these intricate and expensive lumps of resin!

From what I can tell they are actually for a couple of games, both of which are rather interesting looking. SMOG1888 in particular.

Wishing the other game was smaller scall so I could use it with Tannhauser, the miniatures have a very similar style.

It´s seems I got unduly excited by seeing all the new minis on the site... :p

Apologies all round for getting peoples hope up :/

Very nice - I like them all, very quirky and up my street.... but why are they so bloody expensive??? Having a really weak pound doesn\'t help, but they\'re still fecking pricey imo :(

They are 54 mm (or thereabouts) and those prices are pretty much in tune with that market. In the higher end of the spectrum, yes, but as people rave about the quality, I have no problems with that.

i have one half primed and all nrealy assembled. was waiting for pics so i can do them properly

@bb - they are 50mm and oooooooooooooooh so crisp. finest quality i have ever seen on sci-fi/fantasy modelling. aslo, if you like steampunk (which i do), imo they hit the nail on the head. or most of them do

for example, the fell with the gas mask and shovel. his shoulder jacket thing is extra. you have simply slip it over his shoulders. all pieces have tags that actually fit into the component holes (some required a *small* amount of trimming)

Actually, just looking at the prices again, I\'d agree with that Anders and FIAC

Having such a de-valued currency atm makes these bloody pricey though... It\'s almost £1 - 1 Euro atm so these are about 45%-50% more expensive in the UK than the rest of Europe I guess.

I may still have to invest though... they are NICE

They are officially open now. Seems to be some problems still, though... I get the message that they don\'t deliver to my country. I can\'t see why they wouldn\'t ship to Sweden... ??? So, hopefully just an error... I have emailed them.

Really? I\'ll sell you my two for a million quid each if you like. Part assembled and cleaned, so less work for you! :p:beer:

A million quid? That\'s like 8.50 euro or something with the current exchange rate, right? :]

Germany also doesn\'t work :( Either it is a glitch in the shopping system (which I hope) or they really don\'t ship to these countries
