Couldn't resist but buy a couple of Smog 1888 miniatures recently, which arrived in the post today.
Little Alice: amazed by the level of detail but slightly disappointed at a couple of miscast areas (missing ribbons) and the rabbit ears which broke in transit.
Jeremiah Crow: a great figure and thankfully no breakages! I'm slightly bemused however that I did not get the illustrated 'brickwork' base, but a plain base with a strange "this way up" type arrow... Disappointing.
A glance on Google suggests the brickwork base is the norm?
Alice will unfortunately have to go back. I'm debating whether to get a replacement or not: I love the figure and feel it'll make a great sculpting reference, however I'd be worried whether something that fragile (and in that loose a package) could ever arrive safely.
