Woodlands scenics snow (50%) +PVA (50%) and a dash 0f bright white paint I use w&N tube acrylic (I can\'t remember the name...I\'m at work ) . This can be loaded into a 10/20ml syringe and keeps for weeks all you have to do is unblock the nozzle. Then sculpt to taste with a wet tool. PM me and I\'ll send you some of the snow flake because it is £8.00 for a big tub and I\'m sure I can spare you some. You can dust over with dry to give a powdery look when nearly dry.
Hope this answers your question although I might be wrong..... :D
Is this for what I think it\'s for ?? She will look nice on the snowy base.

i know a lot of people will argue against it but i used flour on my mercenary huntress and i think it turned out really well.

words right from my mouth...

The Techstar snowflakes are great. They are a little harder to work with, but really do look like snow.

I didn\'t even know they were in the CMON shop, but I sure am glad they are.

I have tried the woodland scenics, but I haven\'t come up with a good practice....

I\'ll try to use your technique Greymane, since I have some larger bases I want to work on with snow.

Another great product is made by Woodland Scenics and is called FlexPaste. You can use it to sculpt snow drifts and it holds its shape, even after its dry. Then just sprinkle a little of the Techstar stuff on and viola, a deep imposing snow drift!

I\'m using a textured paste called Snow-tex made by Decoart (http://www.decoart.com) and works well:

Is a white paste with something that seems sand and you can use a toothpick to shape it on the miniature.

Baking soda mixed with white PVA glue and a bit of water works really well too. It looks like the soda dissolves in the water, but when it dries up it crystallizes again. I used it here.

They say flour tends to turn yellow with age, btw...

i like it!

That baking soda gives some pretty good results...And that pound for pound is by far the cheapest! I might try that as well..
