but I think the fur lets it down a bit it looks a bit uniformed and under done compered to the rest of your painting
Since this is a set I'm intending to get I've spent a long time looking at your version and I have to be honest the larger figure is detracting from the smaller.
Not because of size, but because I'm seen so things which 'don't work' for me.
Firstly the muscle shapes look less than finished, for me you need to take them higher in colour so that there are almost white marks as highlights.
Next the curlicues on the figure need greater emphasis, these look like incisions in the skin and need to be darker with highlight edges.
The Face while the rest of the bodies Blue the face is Grey.
Fur you've opted to go for a grey which has no colour echo of the blue skin.
I hope that you'll accept these as honest criticisms and something to consider, because I'd rather be honest and possibly help someone improve.
