Don't hold out on us we know a bunch of you bought this already, let's hear your reviews. I can see some of the details in the photos but it's hard for me to tell if the skin has detail throughout the model. How is the riders detail? Does it fit together nice or do we need to do some major filling?

I must say from what I can see Pedro Fernandez did an amazing job, then I find out he did it in only 3 months, that's just crazy.

Bought one at Gencon. The detail is pretty amazing. He actually sculpted scars into the scales. I think that just the different textures is pretty incredible. The casting, at least on the one I purchased, seems to be top notch also. Haven't put it together yet, but I have dry fitted many parts together, and appears it may just go together with out too much trouble or gap filling. Can't wait to start on this one!

Good to hear thank you. I think the only thing holding me back is I know I can do a $15.00 paint job on a $12.00 mini but I'm not sure I can do a $250.00 paint job on a $250.00 mini

Feel free to Commission one to me if you are in doubt whether you can paint it properly... It´s not as expensive as you might think...^_^...

Yeah! Commission Matt to do one! :D
Nah, Matt would probably saw it in half, put hinges on it, hollow it out and make a crazy diorama inside it!

On second thought, commission Matt to do one! I'd like to see that diorama! :smile-big:

I received mine a few days back, just started pinning the thing and putting it together.

Mine came with some damage (wing membrane cracked and broken off spikes).

But overall, the 'mini' is as advertised, i will enjoy painting this up. The details translated nicely unto the resin, the pieces fit together 'relatively' well, but definately will need gap fillings, and a bit of work to wrap the dragon around the tower snugly.

Needs a lot of filing, but not more so than the average forgeworld piece, and quality is comparable to the big forgeworld pieces (which is pretty high, i just built the Chaos Dragon recently). It is 1 size smaller than Pat Garrity's Magnificent Ego Dragon in a similar pose, but this Dragon have better proportions to me (head is much bigger) and less like a snake. Some people commented this looked like an Iguana but i think he looks very nice as a Dragon.

My main complain is the rider that came with him, he is small compared to GW figures, and his spear is paper thin, my original plans is not to have the rider on anyway so it is not a major issue for me, but i wished they made the rider bigger.

i got mine yesterday. fecking impressive. his wings are the size of my forearm! haven't tried cleaning up yet, may tackle that today. didn't realise he had a rider, nice inclusion, won't comment on the size but he looks cool

Quick comment, if you have any parts that aren't easily fixable with a spot of super glue, let me know and we'll send out replacements. Also, the rider is scaled at 28mm but sculpted to Pedro's sense of proportions, i.e. he's less cartoonish than GW style sculpting with a more proportioned head.

I gotta say the customer service is indeed top notch, and really appreciates Chern Ann for taking the time to answer seemingly trivial concerns.

Edit: I didn't get any custom problems

If you mean the Oracle Dragon, the whole Mag Ego's line was bought over by Valiant, you can find it in the Valiant section of our shop. I don't know how true this is but this was supposed to be on of the things that sank the Ego ship.
